Taster Class: Wednesday Improvers

Improvers Italian

This is a class for people with a little Italian experience – maybe you've done a course a while ago, or spent lots of time in Italy on holiday getting to grips with the basics. Perhaps you've studied solo e.g. using Babbel/Duolingo but not really put your learning into practice yet – this course is for you!

The classes will run continually, to be paid in advance in blocks of four lessons (six hours tuition), with breaks for Easter, Christmas and summer.

We will cover, among other things:

Topics

• talking about ourselves

• talking about friends & families

• describing our daily routine

• describing the home & other places

• talking about holidays ;)

• talking about food & wine – very important!

• discussing films, books, music & art

Grammar

• (review) present tense 

• past tense (regular & irregular verbs)

• reflexive verbs

• prepositions (to, at, in etc.)

• irregular plurals

• adverbs

When: Wednesday mornings 11.30am-1pm
